The one on being a Beckham Wannabe I've always like to play Andre's hair after his meals, cos I know he's having his bath soon. Here's one shot I find it cute (Esp his expression). He is getting more & more expressive now. Momsy was telling me the other day when she was busy with preparing dinner, she had him in his playpen to sleep. He woke up about 20 minutes later, realizing there was no one beside him, around him, he started to bawl while half sticking him both legs out of the playpen...the sounds he made were similar to "pa pa & ma ma", so momsy actually thought he was crying for us. I think it's just him trying to mimic words that we taught him. Good boy! Btw, back to the same topic I started off with - with a help of leftover water from Andre's cup (he has a small ceramic mug too that's has babies printed all over the cup) to 'style' his hair. ![]() Am I cool, mummy? @ 08:38
Visit from Uncle Kah Loong & Aunt Julie We had Lawrence's colleague Julie & Kah Loong over for a visit. Main purpose is to see Andre, not us...

Trip to the zoo Finally, finished my exams, decided to take an additional day to unwind, so decided to bring my mum & Andre to the zoo last friday. Thanks to the convenience of owning a car, travelling with a kid + stroller is a whole lot easier. I am really thankful for that. Here's Andre with myself & mum, looking a bit confused. Who isn't, especially when it's 8.30am in the morning. I was quite tired too, but forced myself to reach zoo earlier to beat the crowd & afternoon sun, so before we went in, we had coffee just next to the entrance. "Uncle, 2 cups of Ah-Meng Kopi, pls!" I am serious & I do hope I did not read wrongly. Ah Meng Kopi...the cafe salles rhino milo too! How interesting is that! After the caffiene perk, we decide it's time to start our adventure!
I think it's time I learn how to take a proper picture. Will improve with experience. Flamingos, a whole lot of them. They do look like ballerinas huh... Baby roo, lazing under the sun. Happy & contented.
This is a special order. I remember when I was little, my mum would especially pack luncheon meat + cucumber along so that we can eat it when we are hungry, so this time, it's no exception case, just that we added tomatos... It's fun, plus things are really very expensive in the zoo, $3 for a bottle of coke... ![]() Before we stopped for bfast, we snapped a few shots of our baby..looking still confused, not knowing where on earth he was.
Took this picture at the primate world. Andre behaves like one too. Whenever we say, " Monkey jump" He will start jumping up & down, and he likes it!
Zebras wasn't really the last stop, but I am just tired and stopped taking pictures. BTW, it was around 1.30pm when we left. Whoa...marathon. Tired but satisfied! :) Psst: Wanted to ask this question for a long time. Is zebra a black horse with white stipes or a white horse with black stripes? Confused? Wiki? Anyone? |
